Gregory G. Brown is the Managing Partner of Brown & Charbonneau, LLP and is it’s most seasoned trial lawyer, having spent well over 400 days in front of a jury as lead trial counsel. He is a graduate of the renowned National Institute of Trial Advocacy and is ABOTA qualified. He has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest honor, an AV Rating, signifying that his legal abilities are of the “very highest standard” and his professional ethics are “unquestionable”. His results in trial have been astounding, having been written up in legal journals for his many trial successes. Mr. Brown’s trial & litigation experience includes catastrophic personal injury cases, construction matters, products liability, fraud & RICO actions, contract disputes, trade secret & unfair competition disputes, premises liability, false advertising, corporate & shareholder disputes.
Mr. Brown has tried cases ranging from $25,000 injury matters to $30,000,000 fraud and breach of contract business disputes. Mr. Brown has been featured numerous times in periodicals such as Verdict Magazine, California Litigation and the Los Angeles Daily Journal. He teaches at the College of Trial Advocacy and serves regularly as a court appointed Judge Pro Tem, Arbitrator & Mediator for the Superior Courts.
In between trials, Mr. Brown serves as a Trial Consultant for other attorneys and counsels businesses and corporations on a wide variety of legal issues (see articles Managing Business Risks & Selecting Proper Business Structures authored by Mr. Brown). He has lectured to the public, insurance companies, TPA’s and business owners on topics including, but not limited to, preparing for trial, insurance and litigation issues, risk management, trade secret & unfair competition. Mr. Brown’s articles have also been published in the Orange County Business Journal, Builder & Developer Magazine, Inland Empire Business Journal & The OC Metro.
Born in La Jolla, California, Mr. Brown attended the University Of San Diego School Of Law, graduating in May 1987. He was named to the prestigious San Diego Law Review and served on that publication’s staff for two years. In his senior year, he was a founding editor of the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues. Mr. Brown has been actively involved with the Orangewood Children’s Foundation since 1995 and was recently elected to Vice Chairman of the Board/Chairman Elect of the Orangewood PALS. He is an avid triathlete and marathon runner, having completed an internationally sanctioned Ironman Triathlon.
