Michael Tran

Michael Tran is an associate of Brown & Charbonneau, LLP practicing primarily in the area of business litigation.  Mr. Tran has handled a variety of matters including construction, real estate, professional liability, public works, breach of contract, derivative actions, unlawful detainer, and personal injury.  Mr. Tran has experience in all stages of the litigation process: pleadings, discovery, court appearances, depositions, law and motion, ADR, trial and appeal.  Mr. Tran has also handled a variety of transactional matters.

Mr. Tran has significant trial experience participating in civil trials throughout California including Orange County , Los Angeles , San Francisco and Ranch Cucamonga.  This includes a complex 4 month trial, which resulted in a favorable defense verdict.  Mr. Tran has also obtained favorable settlements through mediation, arbitration and negotiation. 

Mr. Tran is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School , obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 2007.  He received his undergraduate degree at UCLA in 2004.  In 2005, Mr. Tran served as a law clerk for the Hawaii Office of the Attorney General and in 2006, he worked as a summer associate for the law firm of Kobayashi, Sugita and Goda.

Mr. Tran is actively involved in the Bruin Bench and Bar and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Tran is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Asian American Bar Association.
